Unmerge and Fill is used to unmerge cells and fill their value across the freed cells.

It earns its place whenever you have to flatten a merged-header table for a PivotTable/filter.

  1. Select the range to clean.

  3. Confirm; in-place value fill of freed cells.

Effect on your data and undo

Unmerge and Fill writes the result over the cells you selected. Undo Last reverses it whenever you need.
