Excel Data Profiling and Quality Report

In short: Data Profile walks your selected table column by column and computes quality measures such as fill rates, blank counts, unique values and data-type mix. The result is written to a new worksheet named XLMind Profile; the source table itself is never modified. The report sheet can be removed with Undo Last, and the analysis runs entirely on your computer.

What it is for

Before working with a table you need to know where the gaps are, which columns repeat and which mix data types. Data Profile does that discovery for you and lays the findings out on a readable report sheet.

The Excel problem it solves

Data quality problems usually surface after the work is done, when a report comes out wrong. Filtering columns by hand to hunt for gaps and mixed types is slow and incomplete. A profile report makes those risks visible before you start.

The source data is unchanged; undo removes the created sheet.

How it differs from similar tools

Instead of scattered manual checks with filters and summary formulas, it gathers every quality measure into one report with one command; deleting the report leaves no trace on the source.

Good to know

The report reflects the data at the moment it ran; rerun the profile after changing the table. On very large tables, scan time grows with the data size.
