Our approach

XLMind Studio is designed for local processing. Excel files, cell contents and worksheet names are not sent to our servers during normal use and are not shared with artificial intelligence providers.

Internet access may be used for licensing, payment, download, update checks, in-product information messages and support.

Information collected

We may collect limited contact, billing, order, payment status, license, activation, technical security and support information required to provide the service. Full card details are not stored by us. Card transactions are handled by iyzico.

Information not collected

During normal use, we do not upload workbooks, collect cell contents, collect worksheet names, send Excel data to AI providers or sell user data for advertising.

A file voluntarily sent for support is used only to address that request.

In-product information messages

When Excel starts, XLMind Studio asks our servers whether there is an information, release or announcement message to show inside the product.

That request carries only three things: the add-in version, the language preference (Turkish or English) and the license status (trial or licensed). No license key, device identifier, user name or email address is sent.

The message image is downloaded from our servers. As with any internet request, the IP address appears in ordinary server and security logs.

Your workbook contents, cell data, worksheet names, file names and file paths are not sent to this service.

Whether a message is shown, how often it appears and when it is dismissed are handled inside the add-in; which message you saw, and whether you followed a link, is not reported back to the server.

Where data is hosted

XLMind Studio's main production infrastructure and database are hosted in Türkiye. Licence, order, sales and support records are processed and stored on that infrastructure in Türkiye.

Backup and disaster recovery measures are maintained in Türkiye to keep that data available and secure.

Use, sharing and retention

Information is used to deliver licenses, activate the product, process payments and invoices, provide support, show in-product information messages, prevent misuse, maintain security and comply with law.

It is shared only with the payment, hosting, email, accounting and professional providers needed to deliver the service, or with lawful authorities. The groups of recipients are set out in the "Disclosure" section of the Personal Data Protection Notice. Data is retained for the service relationship and legal obligations, then deleted, destroyed or anonymized; support attachments are deleted automatically after 90 days.
